The Institute for World Ministry (IWM) is a leadership and ministry training program of International Gospel Outreach (IGO), designed to equip men and women to live with purpose and serve with impact. Launching in Fall 2026, IWM exists to develop individuals who are prepared to lead in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities—both locally along the Gulf Coast and around the world.
At its core, IWM focuses on addressing the deeper challenges people face—issues of identity, purpose, character, and direction. While many programs focus on external needs, IWM is committed to developing leaders who can engage the heart of individuals and bring lasting, transformational change. With a strong emphasis on sharing the Gospel, students are trained to walk alongside others and make a meaningful difference in everyday life.
The Word of God serves as the foundation for everything taught at IWM, anchoring both personal growth and leadership development. Students are rooted and grounded in biblical truth so they can lead with integrity, clarity, and consistency wherever they are called. This foundation ensures that the impact of their leadership is not temporary, but lasting.
IWM is built on more than 40 years of ministry experience through IGO, including a rich history of training leaders who continue to serve faithfully today. Many past students are actively involved in ministry and leadership roles across the region and throughout the world. Today, that legacy continues with a diverse, cross-denominational team of instructors and mentors who bring real-world experience from ministry, business, education, and community leadership.
Through a structured, hands-on training model, students are equipped not only to grow personally, but to actively serve and lead others. Those who complete the program and demonstrate readiness may also have the opportunity to be licensed and ordained through IGO’s Global Fellowship, providing a clear pathway into long-term ministry and leadership. IWM exists to raise up leaders who are prepared, grounded, and committed to making a lasting difference wherever they are sent.
